As we reflect on 2025, Northshore Hamilton has marked another year of transformation, innovation, and international engagement. Key highlights include:

✅Street Renewal: Delivered by BMD Group, major upgrades across the precinct will enhance connectivity, accessibility, and public amenity, reinforcing our commitment to world-class urban renewal.
The Forefront opening: Launch of our new co-working and office spaces offering another innovative place designed to attract startups, scale-ups, and established enterprises, positioning Northshore as a driver of Brisbane’s innovation economy.
✅New residential development is underway: Progress on landmark projects by Silverstone Developments underscored confidence in the precinct’s growth trajectory. With EDQ announcing new land releases for developers to secure in 2026.
✅New residential aged care is joining the precinct: Rockpool Residential Aged Care’s aged care home development has commenced and will welcome new residents and dignified care to the precinct in 2026.
Brisbane Street Art Festival: Northshore continued its support of the world- renowned installations and activations, introducing more creativity and culture into the heart of our community.
Eat Street Northshore milestone: Celebrating 12 years of Eat Street, a Brisbane icon that continues to draw locals and international visitors, enriching the precinct’s tourism offering.
hashtagBluey’s World celebrated is first year which has far exceeded all forecasts for visitation in Brisbane. Welcoming over 379,905 Bluey lovers to experience Bluey’s backyard at Northshore!
✅International engagement: We welcomed delegates from Japan to tour Northshore Hamilton, strengthening ties and showcasing the precinct firsthand. Northshore was also represented in Dubai, positioning our precinct on the global stage as a destination for investment and collaboration.
✅Development Scheme update: Implementation of the revised Development Scheme provided a clear framework for sustainable growth, housing delivery, and infrastructure investment.

2025 has been a defining year for Northshore Hamilton, one that balanced local activation with global ambition. As Queensland’s largest riverfront urban renewal project, Economic Development Queensland remains focused on delivering a precinct that balances homes and recreation with a desirable riverfront lifestyle.
