Northshore Hamilton is the largest waterfront urban renewal project in Queensland and is destined to become a true Brisbane icon .
Over the next 20 years, this 304 hectare precinct will transform from an industrial area into a vibrant riverside precinct which stretches 2.5 kilometres along the Brisbane river. This urban renewal project echoes the character of its historic past and encapsulates the distinctive style of Queensland’s capital and river city. Waterfront civic park site preferred developer announced
On 26 May 2015, the Queensland Government for the $400 million civic park site at Northshore Hamilton. EDQ will work exclusively with Leighton Properties to finalise a detailed proposal which will include plans for 700 apartments. Leighton Properties' design team, led by local studio DC8, consists of notable Malaysian architect Ken Yeang. This prime riverfront site was released to the market in October 2014.
